The Practice Go

Mountain Leadership and my aims this year:

I aim to be a confident, calm and composed leader and member of a group this year during mountain leadership. I would like to walk some interesting routes as well as seeing the scenery and learning more about the mountainous environment.

Things to work on:

Personally I think I need to work on withdrawing myself from the front of the group and step back and listening more. I need to increase my patience and tolerance of others who may not be as fit as myself. I definitely need to improve my knowledge of flora and flauna as I know barely anything about the countryside animals and nothing about plants and what they signify.

Aspects I can bring to Groups:

I can bring strong leadership, good decision making and very good levels of strength and fitness, allowing myself to be a versitile member of the group and able to motivate people and help people who may be struggling with the fitness side of walking.
